Yellow-green Anthocyaninless Dwarf 1-75

Plants of stock 1-75 appear clear yellow green, Ygr1, with no purple pigment (anthocyanin) on stems, leaves, or other plant parts including the seed coat.

In the dwarf genetic background, leaves, stems, and flowers are reduced in size.

No or very few hairs on any plant part, Hir(1). 

The genetic background of 1-75 is selected for moderately high expression of purple anthocyanin, Pan (6). 

This stock was selected and bred from the male fertile plants of stock 1-85 that have been mass pollinated through at least two generations from which male steriles have been removed. Thus 1-75 will have fewer plants than 15% Mst2, mst2/mst2.
