Anthocyanin Expression Dwarf 1-77

Sold in packs of 100 seeds.

Plants of stock 1-77 are substantially shorter than standard 1-67. Leaves, stems, and flowers are reduced in size. Plant hue is darker green than standard. 

Plants have strong expression of purple pigment anthocyanin, Pan (8), on the hypocotyl, cotyledons, stems, leaves, hydathodes, sepal tips and anther spots. 

Numbers of hair on leaves and stems is variable. 

Seed color is brown with the exception of a low percentage (less than10%) of seeds having yellow seed coats, Ysc2. Yellow seed coats, Ysc2, in stock 1-77, are conditioned by a few genes, none of which are allelic to anthocyaninless, anl. Genes expressing Ysc2 originate from 1-67. 

This stock was selected and bred from 1-10 and backcrossed to 1-67 for anthocyanin expression.
