Anthocyaninless Standard 1-108

Sold in packs of 100 seeds.

Plants of stock 1-108 are essentially hairless, Hir (1), and appear clear green with no purple pigment (anthocyanin) on stems, leaves, or other plant parts including the seed coat.  

Seed coat is yellow. The genetic background of 1-108 is selected for moderately high expression of purple anthocyanin, Pan (6). 

This stock was selected and bred from the male fertile plants of stock 1-107 that have been mass pollinated through at least two generations from which male steriles have been rogued. Thus 1-108 is genetically similar to 1-107 except it will have fewer than 15% plants that are Mst2, mst2/mst2.
